Cheryl Babo, a former commercial litigation attorney, now works as Assistant Counsel for The Translational Genomics ResearchInstitute in Phoenix and Of Counsel for Life Sciences Law, PLLC in NorthCarolina. She holds multiple degrees from Arizona State University, including aB.A. in Philosophy, a J.D., and a dual M.B.A./M.S.I.M.

Rick Karl, the proud father of Krystie Anna Karl-Steiger, shares the journey of his daughter’s Tay-Sachs disease diagnosis and subsequent cord blood stem cell transplant. Rick, an IT sales consultant with the Teradata division of the NCR Corporation, manages data for Fortune 500 organizations, whilst Krystie undergoes significant post-transplant rehabilitative therapy.

Nicole Luce is the mother of the late Riley, who battled Sandhoff Disease. She has raised over $107,085 through various events, including the Annual Princess Riley Bear Golf Outing. She’s held a position at Morrison Financial Group for 21 years and has served on the Community Health Center Foundation Annual Support Committee since 2010.
